MJT Dart Casting supply a wide range of very useful parts for the kit builder or scratch builder, including buffers, w-irons, axle boxes and springs.

Wizard Models suppliers a huge range of parts and kits including buffers and brake gear.

Modelstock
Modelstock are the new home of ABS Fourmost kits and parts. Very useful for brake gear, buffers, coupling hooks. If you don't like etched brass W-Irons, then their white metal ones might be just the thing.

The Historical Model Ralway Society
The HMRS, as well as being a marvellous font of information, also produce 4mm scale transfers that are very easy to use (and butcher into other things too).

The EM Gauge Society
You don't have to model in EM gauge to benefit from the wealth of experience the society offers, so its worth thinking of joining. Also of interest are its shop, where you can get etched brass RCH/GWR w-irons (that come with extremely useful V hangers too).
